Woof Wednesday Fundraiser at the Ballpark!
Join us April 22 at Blue Crabs Stadium for a special Woof Wednesday game supporting the Humane Society of Charles County!
Come out and watch the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs take on the Staten Island Ferry Hawks while helping local animals in need. Before the game, we’ll be hosting a pregame adoption event, giving you the chance to meet some amazing dogs who are looking for their forever homes.

Taylor's Trot Memorial Walk
Join us for a meaningful walk/run hosted by the Halbleib Family in honor of three incredible individuals- daughter Taylor, Ethan Ruefly, and Autumn Jenkins. This is a walk or run at your own pace, bringing the community together to support the Humane Society of Charles County. Taylor was a dedicated volunteer who was in the process of adopting a dog. We gather to honor her compassion and the three lives taken far too soon by drunk drivers.
Registration: 10:30 AM / Walk Begins: 11:30 AM, $25/Walker
Location: Amplifier Pavilion, 13140 Charles Street, Charlotte Hall, MD
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.
Come walk, remember, and make a difference.
Please remember there is a $5 entrance fee to the park.
Memorial Donations to the Humane Society of Charles County are also welcomed from those who cannot attend.
